Hello Hello!
Corozal is CRAZY!!!! I just love it! The work is going along and I am enjoying my time with Sister Lindstrom! We are having a lot of fun. We decided that we have laughed more in these 2 weeks than in the whole mission! Corozal is giving us a lot of crazy moments that are memorable and hilarious!
Lionel is doing well! He had to work this weekend, but we are going to see him tonight. We had a lesson with him on Wednesday and some Canadian member showed up to it. This member was throwing out Apostasy, Joseph Smith, Revelation, Doctrine and Covenants and For-ordination before we even finished talking about prophets! Sister Lindstrom and I were dying! We left on a good note and he has still been calling us to schedule his appointments!
We have the best house right now! We have Sister M, Sister Mims, Sister Lindstrom and I! We are enjoying every minute of it! It is so fun to have a couple more sisters in the house to be with! They are great! The 4 of us got invited to a famous radio broadcasters house to eat dinner. We did not turn that offer down! We ate curry on a microwave plate and we all ate outside. It was a moment that will never be forgotten.
Lydia has been off the path this week and a few things have happened with her, so we are slowing down on meeting with her. She has the desire to change, but she is not making any progression. We are trying to help and pray for her.
Yesterday on the way to church and a few of our investigators that committed fell through and changed their minds. We were riding right next to a guy and I started talking to him. I invited him to church, he said he wanted to change, but not today! We told him today was the day and he decided to go to church with us! It was a such a neat experience to invite him and have him go right away!
We got a "happy end of the week" surprise and found a family of 7 last night! They are catholic, and they are very open to us teaching them. We have been able to see some incredible miracles in this area!
Our favorite quote of the week: (just a little glimpse into our craziness!)
"You know I was in prison once, actually a lot of times, but we carved a statue of Jesus on the cross with a chainsaw in 3 days!"
I love you all and am so thankful for the prayers, love, emails and support! Stay strong and feel my Belizean love coming your way!!
Bringing 'em Heaven as I glory in his name!
xoxo
