Maanin' Maanin'!! WE straight??
This is Sister Poche typing in behalf of Sister Savage.....you might wonder why,....se cayo de la bici...y se quebro la manito. so that means she fell off her bike and broke her knuckle. In the words of Sister Magoffin, who witnessed the accident.....said, "Last Monday night we were riding fast on our way home when suddenly Sister Savage's bike chain fell off. She lost control of the bike and fell onto her right side and slid into the rocks and the weeds on the side of the road. The handle bar smashed her right hand and shredded up her fingers." We spent Tuesday and Wednesday in Belize City going to doctors. I met with a specialist and he said that my ligaments were so strong they ripped off a piece of bone that will hopefully heal.
We are now walking missionaries! This week will be an exciting week! We have a big event on Friday....drum roll please.......HOMER is getting BAPTIZED with his girlfriend, KENNISHA!!!! Sister Poche and Sister Lindstrom have taught Kennnisha and they decided to get baptized together. The elders also have a baptism that same day so all Orange Walk missionaries are having a combined baptism. WE are super excited!!!
On Sunday, Mari and Nay got confirmed! Last week was just a mishap. They have great support in the branch and they have made many new friends. The young women's president is looking out for them. The OW branch is doing super great! I love serving here! I love getting to know these wonderful people and be able to share with them what means so much to me. I know the church is true and I'm so blessed to be a part of it! I cherish my time serving here and I am enjoying every minute! I hope all of you are doing well. I am sorry that I didn't respond to everyone this week! Please have a little patience, but know that I still love reading your emails. Keep on keepin on at home! I love you all!
Bless!
Giving 'em heaven as I glory in his name,
Love, Sista Sav!
