Happy Monday Fam bam & Friends!
Thank you so much for your cute pictures in my birthday book! I love them! I will treasure it forever! Friday, Saturday and Sunday were the highlight of my week.
Friday-Birthday: I woke up to a confetti trail all over the floor leading to my desk. There was a birthday card and a cute green nail polish from Sister Hope. I could not even wait to get ready to open the family package and I just loved it! Thank you for everything! I also loved the book with the chalkboard! Too cute! I felt so loved! We had a normal day, then I got to have an interview with President Hintze. He is so great! I am staying in Belize a little longer, but I am not sure if I will stay in my beloved Santa Elena. Next week I will know. We then went to S. Swanson's and had a pot roast dinner. It was very good! The elders surprised me with a birthday cake that they made in their toaster oven. It was fun! S. Swanson gave me a facial and we will be doing that today after lunch :) I am very excited!
Saturday was a dream day. Every missionary dreams for days to go so smoothly! We had Amalia's baptism right after lunch, and it was so great! Her family did not feel well, so a few of her sisters came. We had cupcakes for her and she looked beautiful. She just glowed! Adrianna had her baptism a few hours later and it was just as great. Her dad baptized her. We went to their home after and had a little pizza, ice cream and played some games with them. It was like an after party in the states! This day was a day never to be forgotten!
Sunday was so incredible! Sundays are hard...no way around that! We were going to the Montalvan's and Sister hope and I had revelation to go to a different house! We found a family who was best friends with some Elders that served here 2 years back! They were such positive people! It is a family of 8 and 6 are old enough to receive the lessons! They are coming to pancake night on Thursday, We are visiting them tomorrow and they are coming to church on Sunday! They ate it all up! Their name is the Pandy family. Pure inspiration to find them! It was so incredible to see the Holy Ghost guide us to find them! I have an instant love for this family and I was grinning ear to ear when I left their home!
We also had a less active family return to church yesterday! It was the first time they came to church in my almost 3 months here! Their name is the Coleman family and we have been working with them a lot.
There are a lot of less actives, but the joy of seeing them in church is just the same as the joy of watching a baptism! I feel like I have been blessed to see so many people as my brothers and sisters. I love seeing beyond our differences and realizing that our goals are the exact same! That is one of the best parts of being a missionary!
This week is one that will go down in the books! It was one of the most memorable weeks in my whole mission and I am so thankful for everything that was put into it! I love being a missionary and I love serving in Belize!
I love you all and thank you for your love, support, emails, letters, and prayers! I am sending it all right back at ya!
Bringing 'em heaven as I glory in his name!
Love,
Sister Savage
