I freaking love you guys!
There is nothing better than opening my email to an email from each of you each week. I believe you could never know how much it means until you are in a different country with only 1 hour of communication with your favorite people each week. Thank you for your love and support!
On Tuesday I went on splits with Hermana Escobar. This girl is a riot! We had so much fun and it just showed me that missionary work can be fun! It does not always have to be 100% serious! We were at a house that was in a jungle and the man asked if I wanted to hold his pet. Everyone there started screaming and running, so thinking it was an alligator, I joined in! Turns out it was just a chicken! I held it! It was crazy! Who knew I would hold a chicken?! haha!
Rene is really struggling right now. His mom died a year ago and he thinks he has to choose between her and God. Not quite sure what we are going to do. Please pray for this man! He is awesome and Satan is working him because he knows how much of a change he will have on the people of El Salvador!
The Perez family are fine. Still not wanting to get married! They will come around, slowly but surely.
I found Root Beer! It was heavenly to drink it for the first time in 3 months! People in C.A. do not like it because there is a medicine just like it, so it is so hard to find it here!
3 more weeks in this change and I am so dang excited! I hope that they will go by fast and I can move on in the mission! :)
I got sick on Thursday and my nose has been a waterfall. It is lovely! I sound like a broken car or something!! I am getting better though! Life is good!
How are you all doing with your goals?! This week I found a quote that I really like..."If you haven't got any charity in your heart, you have the worst kind of heart trouble." -Bob Hope
I do not want to have the worst kind of heart trouble! I am really working and trying to develop charity! I have great examples of charity in my life...each of you demonstrate charity to me! I appreciate it so much! I love you guys more than you will ever know! Thank you so much for your love and support! It means the world to me! Love each of you!!
Bringing 'em heaven as I glory in his name!
