This week was a great week! It all started with soccer with the zone! I was on the losing team...and that was not okay with me! I called a team huddle and we came up with the game plan: BE ONE! After this huddle, we were one as we played and we came back and won! It was great! I was thinking that as we are one with our Heavenly Father, we are so blessed. Without him, it is like this soccer game. We lose, but if we are one with him, we come back and win!
Monday followed by me getting chased by adog that looked like a hyena off of Lion King! It was barking like crazy and I almost died, but here I am! The Lord protects his missionaries!
We got a hot water heater in the house this week and I almost cried! What a blessing to have hot water! I am careful in my mind, because I know the second I change areas, I am back to cold water!
I had a cool opprotunity to translate for a couple from England in church last Sunday. It made me think of when we went to Puerto Rico and an elder translated for us!
Yesterday we had Mirnelly and Daniel in church. They are a couple and they are loving what we are teaching! It has been fun to work with them. They loved church and they are talking about getting married! We are trying to put a date with them this week! Fam: Please pray that they will accept a date and have the desire to change their lives :)
We found a 17 year old named Dennis. He is very positive! He wants to be a missionary like us! We are working with him to help him to baptism. He was out of town yesterday, but I hope and pray he will come to church with us next Sunday. I think that church is a turning point for investigators! I think it really helps them to realize that everything we teach is true. I love when they come to church and especially when they love it!
Last night we had the most spiritual lesson this change. It was with a less active family-Hernandez Fernandez- that the dad is not a member. We taught about keeping the commandments and each person said the blessings they have seen in their life for keeping a commandment. We each talked about why we need to follow the commandments and what we can do to make sure we are valient in keeping them. The spirit was incredible and I was so happy that we were able to help them feel that spirit.
Thank you so much for your love and support! I am so grateful for the letters, emails, prayers and love! I pray for each of you daily and I am constanly counting my blessings that I have each of you!! Thank you for all you guys do for me! Have the BEST Week ever!
Bringing 'em heaven as I glory in his name!
