Good Monday Morning!
This week was a good one! It feels like I just emailed, but I am not complaining :) I feel so grateful for modern day technology! I have so much respect for you folks who only could communicate with hand written Snail Mail! Also, I am excited for a Skype call in T-24 days :)
Thanksgiving was such a special day! I was totally into it here! We went to Belmopan for my immigration papers and visited a member named the Bonilla Family. They made us a light breakfast (those yummy meat skewers) and then we headed back to Santa Elena. We went to a lunch at the Aguada hotel with Martha and Gary Swanson. Gary is not a member, but he loves the missionaries! They are both so supportive. Saturday Martha took me to get new shoes. I told her that there were some in the mail for me and she was not having that. She told me I need to allow her the blessings of giving! She was so cute and I feel so blessed to know her!
Aaron got baptized on Saturday and it was a day never to be forgotten! He came early and we were able to get some fun pictures with him! He was so thrilled to be baptized. He came out of the water with the biggest smile on his face! It brought the biggest feeling of peace to my heart. A feeling I cannot describe. It is a happy, happy feeling!
We found a new investigator named Emma. She lives with Martha and Gary and she has now come to church twice. She says she enjoys it and wants to learn more. We are teaching her and focusing on her a lot to be able to help her come unto Christ.
I would like to announce that I ate pig skin. They did not tell me what it was until after I eat it...but It was not bad! Dad had always told me it was good, but I can now testify of that! I would not just eat it to eat it, but to try it was good!
I love these instructions from President Uchtdorf:
1. Forget not to be patient with yourself.
2. Forget not the difference between a good sacrifice and a foolish sacrifice.
3.Forget not to be happy now.
4. Forget not the "why" of the gospel
5. Forget not that the Lord loves you.
I love each of you so much and I am so thankful for you guys and the support you give me! Thank you for your strength you give me!
Bringing 'em heaven as I glory in his name!
Love you all!
Love,
Sister Savage
Shoutouts:

Happy December 1st!
