This week was a sad, lonely week! On Tuesday morning I woke up and could not walk. I thought my other foot was broken. Hna. Urbina woke up and could not walk either. Her whole body ached and so we stayed in for the day and she slept. While she was sleeping, I got the worst headache. I laid down then woke up with a huge rash up my arms, legs and all over my back. We called the nurse and she said we have Chincungunya. I have no clue what it is, I just know it is a virus from a mosquito. We rested and then at 9:30 that night we found out that I had transfers. I cried and cried. We went out to say goodbye to peeps. I said goodbye to Rene and he cried. We were standing in the rain and we were both crying. He hugged me twice and he told me that I will always be his little angel. We went to Julio´s and I told him to not let anything get in his way. He was so sad that I was leaving. He said a prayer with me and he does not like to say prayers in public, but he asked for protection and happiness! It was so sweet! It was an awful feeling to leave the Sunsu, My heart broke in half and half of it is still and will always be there.
We went to bed at 2 am after packing my bags and woke up at 4:30. We went to change meeting and I had the worst fever. Everyone that hugged me said that I was on fire. I got assigned to my new area and my new companion. My eyes felt like I had 10,000 needles in them, my bones feel broken, my head felt like someone was hitting me with a hammer and my body did not want to move!
I am in Zone: Los Heroes Area: Campestre. My area covers the Temple. It is a huge area. My companion is Hermana Hernandez from Guatemala. She is like every other latina and wants things exactly her way. Yesterday she wanted to go sit at a members house from 5:30 until 7:30 because "we have no investigators." I said "The only way we are going to find investigators is by looking!" We then found a man and had a lesson and she said nothing in the lesson. She sat there with her arms folded and stared at me. Good fun.
I love cities, but not for missionary work! Hernama Poche that lives with me got robbed the other day. The people do not like to talk to us! My area is more humble here than the Sunsu! I have seen more humble houses in 2 hours than I saw in 4 months over there. I am learning the area and I am trying to love it! I just remind my self "This isn´t about you! Turn out!" Good things will come soon!
Well...Here is to learning to love this whole mission thing all over again! You are happy for 1 second and bam! There you go! Changed and having to learn all over again how to love everything! Please keep me in your prayers. I need them! I promise to each of you that this week I will "turn out" and I will have a better report next week when I write! I hope I will have a little more love in my heart for everything! Don´t you guys fret...my heart is still bursting with love for each of you! Thank you for your love and support! I love you guys!!
Bringing 'em heaven as I glory in his name!!
Love you all!
