Wa da gwan boi?
Happy Monday following Skype (the best 45 minutes of the whole week!!) :) I love you guys so much and it was so fun to see your cute faces and hear your voices!!
This week was awesome! I love being able to see tiny miracles every single day here in Orange Walk! We have a family in the branch-The Guerra Fam (Peter and Vanessa) and they are so great! Vanessa's sister is in the hospital and not doing well. We were asked to donate blood and I was very nervous! We went and after they checked my blood to see if I could donate they asked about Dengue/Chikungunya. I could not donate and they told me that right as I was feeling good about it! Sister Magoffin and Elder Smith donated and that was all the blood she needed. Blessing! The day after we were going to show Meet the Mormons in the park and we were scheduled to set up at 5:30. I called the guy and said 5 for no reason! When I got off the phone S. Magof asked why I changed the time and I said "I am not sure!" It turned out that because of the time change as we were going early to meet the guy Vanessa was crying and needed a friend. We had enough time to be able to help her and share our testimonies with her and comfort her in a time of need, but at the same time we got to get the video set up and we got to the park the same time as the man that was helping! Blessing!
Saturday morning we had no appointments so we went looking for Less Actives. A name came to my mind and it was in the next sister's area, but I threw it out. It was a woman who lost her son 14 months ago and Sunday was the month mark. She just cried and cried. She was so thankful that we were there to help her. She just needed a listening ear and Heavenly Father sent us to listen. It was awesome to see that unfold. This is not our work!
Marisela and Nayeli are so excited for Saturday! They love church and they taught Young Womens yesterday! I was so impressed. They did a great job! They have been inviting everyone to their baptism and they asked a 16 year old recent convert to baptize them! That will be really cool!
We have been teaching a man from Taiwan! It has been interesting, but he believes in God and has the desire to learn more! We are hoping he will come to church this week. His name is Ian Wei!
We have a less active family that has not been to church in years! The Miller family. We met the wife this last week and what a blessing she came to church yesterday! She told us she missed her church family so much and the sisters did a great job welcoming her back in!! I love reactivation! It is so fun to see them come back and progress!
We had a multi-zone here in Belize and it was just great! Sister Hintze talked about seeing the Lord's hand in our missions. She showed a picture of Rene, President and I at his baptism and talked about how she saw the Lord's hand in that experience! It just reminded me that the Lord's hand is in our lives every single day and we just have to look for it! I have tried to look for it and without fail I see it multiple times a day!
We showed Meet the Mormons in the park and it was a great turn out! We had about 75 people come to watch it! I love that movie! My goal is to meet the Candy Bomber! I love him! People are just so amazing!
I love being a missionary! There is just this love that I feel and have a hard time explaining. I am so grateful that I get to serve and love Heavenly Father's children in Belize and El Salvador. I have learned so much and what I am experiencing is the best thing I could ever ask for! I feel #TripleBlessed I love you all and am so thankful for the love and support you guys show me! Thank you for your emails, letter and love! You are the best fam and friends a girl could ask for!!
Bringin 'em Heaven as I glory in His name!
Lots of Love= LOL!
