Hola Family and Friends,
This week was a week full of wet shoes and finding news! It rained so much this last week! I got so wet on Thursday that sweet little Hermana Agillon gave me her XXS clothes and made me put them on! It was so funny! She is darling! (That is the pic of me in a blue polka dot shirt and paisley skirt with old folks!)
We were walking down the street and a woman said "Hey, I heard you baptize people after they die...will you explain that to me?" I said of course! It was awesome and her husband joined us! They are named Ana Maria and Jose Santos (Familia Gamez)! They even came to church yesterday! We invited them to be baptized on the 8th of November. They are praying about it and I will keep you all updated! They walked into church late and Ana Maria waved like she was a celebrity!! It was so funny, I had an idea of what they do in other churches now!
The other night I was laying on my bed looking at my camera and the ground started shaking!! I was so pumped! It was the first time I have ever felt an earthquake! I was just laying there enjoying it and my comp came in the doorway (She was sitting at the table in the hall) and said we needed to leave right now. She was very concerned so it made me a bit nervous! I got up and started to run and she yelled "SLOWLY!!" We slowly walked downstairs and outside. I was taking pictures and loving it all! As we were walking downstairs, I saw the chandelier shaking from side to side. It was crazy! I later found out it was a 7.4. I can cross "Being in an Earthquake" off my bucket list!!
This month (I am a little late to write home about it...) I am studying Knowledge. I was reading in Alma 17:2-3 and I loved this example of knowledge. I am trying to learn more about the scriptures, more about the Gospel, the Atonement and everything in between. It has been fun to really, really, really study! I have forever changed the way I have studied as I think of the way I want to learn so much more!
This week was full of tracting and looking for news. We are working hard and I am waiting patiently until next Wednesday! I am praying that I am going to leave this country for a while to join the other missionaries in Belize! If not, Heavenly Father has a plan, and I will have to find why I stay! I have no clue what will go down, but we will see and I will update you all!
Thank you for your love, support and prayers in my behalf! I can feel them and I am so grateful for them! I could never do this alone without each of you! Make this the best week ever and enjoy a little fall for Hermana Savage :)
Love you all!!
Bringing 'em Heaven as I glory in his name!
Much love!!
Hermana Savage
