MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!
Well...this week was full of Christmas celebration and lots of Christmas Cheer! We had a Christmas Multi zone in Belize City with President and Sister Hintze. It was such a fun day! We played "minute to win it" games and enjoyed "A Christmas Carol." We all got flu shots and I am deathly afraid of needles...who knows why. I am working on it! After the multizone we walked outside and I walked right off a bridge into a ditch. Just a typical Sabrina moment! I got muddy and it was just a laughing pay attention to where you are going moment! I seem to have a lot of those!
We were in the Elders area looking for a less active that likes sisters better and it was pitch black. A dog came chasing us and attacking me, so I jumped off my bike to block myself and needless to say I ended up on the ground with not only my bike. but Sister Hopes bike on top of me. I have a great battle wound for that one!
Keanu was baptized yesterday and it was the cutest baptism ever. He shared his testimony after he was baptized and he thanked us sisters and told us how much he loved us, how much he loved Elder Hiatt for baptizing him and how he could feel the angels in the room. He thanked everyone for coming and he said he was so happy. It was the sweetest moment! Pay day moment for sure!!
Shawnie and Albert did not make it to church, but they are progressing. They are praying and seriously talking about marriage. We have found news through them and have been able to correct a lot of false doctrine in their friend group. We have a goal with them for January and I think they will make it if they do their part. (Prayers, reading and such!)
The Lord is hastening the work here in Santa Elena. We are finding news, we had 9 investigators in church yesterday and we have people stopping us to talk. It is so incredible to be able to serve the Lord in this time. I am so happy to be a representative of Jesus Christ. The church is true and I know that without a doubt. Jesus Christ stands at the head of it and this special time of year is for him. He was born on this earth to save each one of us, to be our support and to be our strength, to help us when we mess up and to guide us everyday. I know that through him we can return to live with our Father in Heaven. I hope that each one of you can feel the love that he has for you this special Christmas season! I love you all and I thank you for your love, support and prayers! They mean the world to me!
Merry Christmas to each of you!!! I'll be home for Christmas if only in my dreams! Just kidding, I just am dreaming of the snow! enjoy the cold for me please!!!
Bringing 'em heaven as I glory in his name!!
Love,
Sista Sav
