¡Hola!
First of all...HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DILLON!!!! I cannot believe you are 17 years old...Crazy! I hope you enjoy your birthday and feel the love I am sending from El Salvador!
This week was just weird. I feel out of place here in El Salvador! All my peeps are in Belize! I have been in my old area Campestre and my old house in the City. I got to see all of my friends from this area and that was a lot of fun, but I also had to do a second goodbye! I had quite a few people offer their homes so I can come back and visit, so that is great.
On Tuesday I went to the Dentist with Sister Hintze. I met with the dentist, then the oral surgeon and they decided to fix the issue later that day! We ran back to the Hintze's home and President grabbed his phone to dial mom. He said he wanted to let her know the situation and that I was going to get better. I asked if he would tell her I love her and he said "no, but you can!" and handed me the phone! What a tender mercy to talk to my sweet mother! All went well with the process of my tooth and I am doing okay. I am still having a pain, but it is a different pain. I am on the mend though! All is well!
I was not allowed to be in the sun for 3 days, so we did nurse errands in a taxi with Giovanny (the taxi driver!) On Saturday we got together as a zone and did a service project painting benches. It was a lot of fun. We painted and took a lot of pictures. There was a member who is a professional photographer there and so I got to learn a little about photography from him. It was in a pretty park that just needed some pretty benches to go along with it!
I got to go and do second goodbyes with the people here in Campestre. Sister Done (one of my current companions) is going to Belize so she said goodbyes too. Even though Campestre is not my favorite area, it has good people that I will always remember and stay in touch with. The people amaze me everyday in these countries. They are so happy and the make the best with the things they have!
Thank you so much for your love and support each week. I can feel your prayers and I am so thankful for the support system I have! I love you all!
Bringing 'em heaven as I glory in his name!
Love you all!
