Hello Everyone!!
Wow! This week had so many fun events! So many Celebrations and so many memories attached! It all started Tuesday when I got to go on an interchange with Poche! Love this girl! We just had a night together in my house, then we went to Belmopan to get ourselves legal to stay in this wonderful country! We had a great time and enjoyed our journey to the capital of Belize!
On Christmas Eve. I had to continue our breakfast tradition,(at home we always go to breakfast and a movie. No movie this year!) so we went to breakfast at the Aguada hotel. It is close and they have some yummy french toast :) We went home and made tissue paper flowers (Thanks to mom for teaching me how!) and then we went and had a Christmas Eve party with the Montalvans. They brought the fan outside for me and had it all ready by the time I got there. "This is for you Sister Savage. I know that you are always hot!" It was so funny! I danced and sang Christmas songs with the little Montalvan girls all night long! We then stuffed ourselves with Belizean BBQ and 2 giant cokes! (They give it to you...you eat it) It was a great night! Sister Hope and I went home and put our mattresses out in the family room by our tree and listened to all the craziness outside. Music, Fireworks, you name it and the Belizeans were doing it! It was great!
We woke up early on Christmas and opened our packages. I loved it all! Thank you so much mom and dad! You guys are the best! We got ready (1st hair curl in the mish and last!) and we went to the Swansons to SKYPE. I chilled with Sister Swanson (we call her Grandma) and after Sister Hope Skyped we went to the San Ignacio Hotel and Resort for lunch. They made a special Turkey lunch for us and it was fantastic! We then ran to the wedding and it was a nightmare! The preacher that married them was screaming at our faces in spanish saying that they will be together for eternity, then he finishes and says they will only be together until they die. They were confusing! Also, when they prayed they prayed to "God that is dead in the heavens" I am so grateful for the way we get married and the knowledge we have about God and the way he wants things done! I then Skyped and that was heavenly. I was nervous, but I felt like I was on the couch just talking to you guys! Thank you for the love and support you guys give me! It means the world to me!!
Shawnie and Albert have had a few problems this week and they are not together right now. We cannot find Shawnie and Albert wants nothing to do with us. We are going to find out what is going on and how they are doing and how we can help them!
Amalia (The bride from the wedding) is preparing to be baptized in January! We have a goal of the 17th with her, but we will see how serious she is! We are hoping and praying that she will really come to know the truth through helping her study and pray. She is great!
On Saturday we go to the Market to get fruits and Veggies (the only thing healthy to eat) and I GOT A HAMMOCK! It is the greatest thing ever! We have it up on our balcony and we have a little "hammock time" in the nights before we go to bed! It is fun!
What a fun time of year to Celebrate our Saviors birth! I am so grateful to be able to come to know my Savior more and more each day! I am so thankful for the Atonement and the blessings that come to me and you because of it. I love Jesus Christ!
I love each of you! I am so thankful for your support and the love I feel from you guys. I could not do it without you guys! I am looking forward to seeing you again come Mother's Day! haha! I love you all!
Bringing 'em Heaven as I glory in his name!
Lots of Love,
Sista Sav
